Fractured Realities is a first-person psychological horror game where players step into the shoes of Alex, a man trapped in a house that defies logic and reality. Over five nights, the environment warps into a living nightmare, distorting space, time, and Alex’s perception of what’s real. With an emphasis on environmental storytelling, exploration, and survival, players must navigate shifting rooms, uncover hidden secrets, and evade the eerie forces haunting the house. As reality unravels, the game blurs the line between hallucination and truth, leading to a chilling revelation that questions Alex’s very existence.
Instead of immediate threats, the horror builds through subtle, escalating anomalies, from misplaced objects and eerie whispers to complete spatial distortion. The narrative is non-linear, encouraging players to observe, investigate, and interpret their surroundings. The game also employs unreliable perception mechanics, making Alex’s experience subjective—what the player sees and hears may not always be real.
By blending psychological tension with immersive survival elements, Fractured Realities creates an experience where fear comes not just from what’s lurking in the dark, but from the growing uncertainty of one’s own mind.
